New to Chinese Mahjong?

Chinese Mahjong is different from American Mah Jongg and it is easier than the American version — there is no Charleston, no Jokers, and no annual card. Instead, you build four melds (Chows, Pungs, or Kongs) plus one pair from 136 tiles. It is one of the most satisfying strategy games in the world.

Start by watching the beginner video below, then use the Learn game (with coaching hints) until you feel comfortable, and finally try the Regular game on your own. There is also a Quick Reference card you can keep open while you play.
