Goal: Form melds (sets of 3-4 same-rank cards, or runs of 3+ same-suit in sequence) and reduce your unmatched deadwood cards to zero or a low value.
Turn: Draw from the deck or pick up the top discard card. Then discard one card.
Knock (≤10 deadwood): End the round. The CPU can lay off their deadwood onto your melds. You score the difference in deadwood values. If CPU has equal or less deadwood, they get an undercut bonus of +25.
Gin (0 deadwood): End the round immediately. CPU cannot lay off. You score 25 + all CPU deadwood.
Card Values: Ace = 1, Face cards = 10, others = face value.
Win: First player to reach 100 points wins the game.
